Isolated in this massive web of cyber space? Lost in the endlessness of the everyday? This is what many experience when there is a lack of community. We are a people who thrive on community, and grow as a result. We can learn, create, develop and expound beyond what we were…because of community.

Friends, family, co-workers, clients, employers, and employee are all woven into a tapestry of community. Our professional lives, business ventures, personal lives, and relationships can all benefit from healthy emersion into community with people.

We urge those bound to internet blogging right now, and online social networking sites to expand beyond your mouse and keyboard…and venture out and meet people face to face. Think of something that interests you, and find ways (without a screen in front of you) to meet others who share your same interest. This is not to debunk the usefulness, and fun in blogging and community sites (can’t be hypocritical). However a simple realization that blogging is not the “end all beat all” of social interaction.

Interacting in community often times mean stepping outside of our own comfort zones, maybe switching the sleep mode on our computers, instead of ourselves.
